Fall Semester 10/05/24. (lesson 2)

 👉 We will still have class next week on 10/12, and fall break will be on 10/19.

👉 Today was another pleasant day. We finished learning all the vocabulary from Lesson 2, but we haven’t read the text yet ( 猴子撈月 ), so there will be no quiz next week. We will finish all of Lesson 2 next time, and there will be a quiz on Lesson 2 on 10/26. 

What We Learned:

Homework:

1. Complete Workbook Pages:

   • Pages 26,27,29

2. Pick five of your favorite vocabulary words from Lesson 2 and use them to create sentences for me. Record them and send the recording to me via email or to 615 603 2573.  Example : (頭)髮、漂(亮)、(晚)安、(秋)天、(抬)起來

3. Quizlet Review: Review the Lesson 1 vocabulary on Quizlet at least five times.

Fall Semester 09/28/24. (lesson 2)

 Today was so much fun in class! When I asked the students to come up with their own sentences, the whole class lit up with excitement. Every single one of them couldn’t wait to raise their hand and share their ideas. It was amazing to see how eager they were to participate! Also, we learned a new word (漂亮 – beautiful). Moms, try asking your child in Chinese who they think is the most beautiful. I believe you'll love their answer! 😜

   • Pages 20,23,25

 What We Learned:

2. Correct the mistakes from the first part of the quiz. Write each incorrect word three times.

Fall Semester 09/07/24. (lesson 1, 2)

 On September 21, we will have a quiz on the first lesson. The quiz will cover all the vocabulary words as well as the use of punctuation marks.
