Fall Semester 09/28/24. (lesson 2)

 Today was so much fun in class! When I asked the students to come up with their own sentences, the whole class lit up with excitement. Every single one of them couldn’t wait to raise their hand and share their ideas. It was amazing to see how eager they were to participate! Also, we learned a new word (漂亮 – beautiful). Moms, try asking your child in Chinese who they think is the most beautiful. I believe you'll love their answer! 😜


What We Learned:

  • Vocabulary from Lesson 2: 面、亮、掉、拉

  • Lesson 2: 手部的字


Homework:

  1. Complete Workbook Pages:

    • Pages 20,23,25

  2. If you haven’t finished grading the test yet, please submit it to me by next week.

  3. Quizlet Review: Review the Lesson 1 vocabulary on Quizlet at least five times.

On 2/10, there's a quiz for Lesson Eight, mainly covering the vocabulary. Students are also advised to read Lesson Eight's p.76-77 and 82-85.   What we learned:   1.  Lesson 8 vocabularies part 2.  2. Lesson 8 story (十二生肖） Homework:  1.  Workbook p.132 ~ p.144 2. Review Quizlet's lesson 8 words, at least five times. 3.  I've included a short story below (see attachment) for students to read before the next class. We'll discuss the story's vocabulary in detail during the class, along with some simple exercises. If you need a printed copy, let me know, and I'll provide it during the New Year event.

Spring semester 03 / 23 /24 (No class next week)

  Next week, on 3/30, there will be no class due to Easter.  What we learned:   1.  Lesson 10 vocabularies part 1. 2. Discussed the short story. 3. Lesson ten story 西遊記. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Homework:  1. C orrect any errors in the workbook. 2.  Workbook p. 166~168. 174~178. 3. Your child selected a book this week.   (亮亮的故事） Each book comes with a QR code for listing.  They'll share their thoughts on it during our next class. 5. Spring semester 04/ 13 /24 ( we will have a final exam next week )

  👉 We will have final exam next week. (04/20) What we learned:   1.   Quiz for Lesson Ten. 2.  Review lessons eight through ten. Homework:    1. R eview lessons eight through ten, which I covered today 2. C orrect any mistakes from today's quiz, and continue where it hasn't been        finished.  3.  Use quizlet to practice lesson eight through ten,  Please ensure understanding of the meaning of each word and know how to write each main character.
