Homework: 

1. Complete the winter homework "I talk with everyone" （我和大家聊聊天）. If you have any question please let me know!

2. 11/19 Sat, your child brought 5 books home from school . There are rules and expectations below. Please read and follow them.  We appreciate your cooperation! 

Please arrange your own reading time. Record them to me (email or phone) after you familiar with the book's content. My suggestion will be one book a week, but you can adjust it according to your own needs.

Library books should be kept in a special place in your home. Books should stay in the bag when not use. Hanging it on your child's bedroom door or another convenient place is ideal. 

Hands must be clean while reading the books. Make sure your child is not eating/drinking while reading the book. 

Your child had chosen their own books!  :) Happy reading!!

3. Review the words we learn in Lesson 10 of Volume 2 of American Chinese and the words of Lesson 1 of Volume 3 of American Chinese (copy each word five times)

On 2/10, there's a quiz for Lesson Eight, mainly covering the vocabulary. Students are also advised to read Lesson Eight's p.76-77 and 82-85.   What we learned:   1.  Lesson 8 vocabularies part 2.  2. Lesson 8 story (十二生肖） Homework:  1.  Workbook p.132 ~ p.144 2. Review Quizlet's lesson 8 words, at least five times. 3.  I've included a short story below (see attachment) for students to read before the next class. We'll discuss the story's vocabulary in detail during the class, along with some simple exercises. If you need a printed copy, let me know, and I'll provide it during the New Year event.

👉 Moon Festival drawing contest due  on 9/23   What we learned:  1. Tone practice 2.  Lesson 6 vocabularies part 2.  Homework:  1.  Finish book 2 lesson 6 workbook page 97~101. 2. Please review L6 vocabulary  on Quizlet below at least 5  times. 3. Read the storybook (亮亮的故事） thoroughly and pay attention to intonation.
